WorthPoint’s new DIY ad system is a self-service platform that allows you to upload your own ads for display on WorthPoint in a quick & simple way.
- Current Available Sizes: 728×90 Header Leaderboard, 300×250 Medium Rectangle, 160×600 Wide Skyscraper.
- Available ad types: Image, Flash, HTML/JavaScript.
- Minimum buy of only $50, please contact us directly for campaigns larger than $2,000.

Here’s how it works:
First, pick the position in which you want to place your ad in (e.g. WorthPoint Header Leaderboard), then:
- Select which website on which you would like your ad to appear, your type of ad, name of your ad (this does not show to the viewer), and upload it.
- Select your target audience. If you’d prefer that your ad display to any user on the site you can skip this step.
- Context target - If you’d like your ad targeted to a particular part of our website, select a category and/or keywords.
- Geography – If you’d like to target a particularly geography you can also do that in this step.
- Select your ad budget and when you’d like your ads to run:
- All ads are $5 per 1,000 impressions, so to figure out how many impressions you’d get for your budget just multiply your budget by 200 (e.g. $100 would get you 20,000 impressions)
- If you want a particular start & end date, specify that here as well; otherwise ads will start as soon as we approve them and run until your budget runs out.
- We will send you weekly campaign statistic reports until your campaign is completed.
Caution: Be careful with the use of scheduling in conjunction with targeting (step #2). If you target too specifically it may not be possible to deliver your campaign in the allotted time frame. For example if you wanted to deliver ads only in the “Fine Arts” category in Vermont but also specified a high budget there would likely not be enough impressions to deliver your campaign. We will be reviewing all submissions to ensure that we can fulfill the impression requirements and we will contact you with suggested changes if what you’ve scheduled is too tightly targeted to be delivered in a timely manner.
- Pay for your campaign via PayPal or credit card and submit it!
- Payments are processed by PayPal but do not require a PayPal account.
- Your ads will start showing up on WorthPoint.com as soon as we’ve reviewed the content!
Additional Notes on Targeting:
You can define an audience via geography, category, keyword, or any combination thereof. Category will match up your ad with a category on our site, e.g. if you want your ad to only show up on articles or items related to Ceramics just pick Ceramics as the category. Keyword will match up your ad with keywords in the title of the item or article.
For example using the keywords “roseville” & “fenton” would match any page that used either of these keywords in the title of the item. We recommend being as broad as you can be with your targeting. For example, since you already know that the people coming to WorthPoint are likely interested in antiques & collectibles, if they are on a page about watches doesn’t mean that they don’t also like ceramics.
