Description: early 20th century. Antique Cast Iron Owl Andirons with Golden Yellow Glass Eyes. marked 918-1 Made in USA on billet bars with 8009 2 on back. Unmarked versions of these typically attributed to Rostand Manufacturing Company of Milford, CT; 15` high x 9` wide x 15.5` deep. Tools include poker, tongs, shovel on stand, all with owl finials.
Rare and hard-to-find. Not a reproduction!
