Description: This is a marvelous antique oil painting on canvas of a colorful clown. It is signed by an artist named Grifoll. The painting with frame is measured 18" x 33". The frame appeared to be made in pine that is also painted. My research on the artist turned very limited info: it is from early 1900's probably 1904 or 1905. It might be imported from "Bella artes studios" of Spain in turn of the century.
