Wilendur(e) did indeed make round tablecloths with fringes as well as rectangular cloths with fringes. The two fringed rounds I have seen the most are the Royal Rose pattern in red and yellow as well as the Merry Christmas pattern which featured poinsettias.

BTW, there are original Wilendurs with four hems but the ones I have seen are all bridge sized cloths and the hems are rolled, similar to hankies of the period. Most of the reproductions I have seen of any cloths have four wide hems, usually a half inch to an inch in width.

Connie,
I believe they may have made a round tablecloth with fringe. It would have been during the later years, such as 1960-80. However, roses were a very popular pattern, so many other tablecloth manufacturers used rose patterns, some almost identical to Wilendur's. It could also have been made by Weil and Durrse under a different brand name.

Did Wilendur ever make a round tablecloth? I have one with American Roses that look like Wilendur. It has fringe all around the edges.

Yes, any Wilendur linens in the original condition with the original tags have a value. If you're interested in a more precise valuation, I suggest you submit a question to Ask A Worthologist along with photos showing the tags, condition, packaging etc.

My Mother recently passed away and apon cleaning out the house, we discovered a Wilendur 54 x 72 tablecloth w/6 napkins in the wild rose pattern in the origional bow with the wilendur tag inside. they have never been used, but have some spots from age on them. I was wondering if there is a value to them?
