After reading your article on the Randolph Market I think your writer Ben Stoler took my comments about Herman Miller way out of context.People who know me and the way I do business know that the word Slut is not in my vocabulary and never would I use that in any interview.I guess your writer has the right to his prospective on what was said and maybe wanted a shock moment ,but at no time would that have come out in this kind of interview, hey Ben ,leave that to the National Enquirer. As for the market itself I think all the dealers that travel to the show from all over the US put on the best show that the customers in Chicago can get.Great merchandise, great venue and great people and a great job by the promoter.

Hi...I writing a responce to your article about "The Randolph Street Market." I feel the quote you used in the article cast a negative inference. That was not my intention. I've exhibited in over 700 shows in my 30 years in the antique business and this show ranks up there with the best. I was in New York City in the 80's doing the 26th.Street Flea Market; in Los Angeles in the 90's doing the Rose Bowl Flea Market; occasionally in Miami doing both the annual Art Deco Show on Ocean Blvd, and the monthly Lincoln Road Show. These shows were, and are the great ones where you'd never know who would show up. That's the vibe for this show. We're proud to have "The Randolph Street Market." in Chicago. There is no other monthly show in the Midwest that equals or exceeds this show. Great variety, professional vendors, great music, and exceptional promoters makes this show also "ONE OF THE BEST".
Thanks...Don Colclough...an old timer...
