Clean your cake server with any good commercial silver product. I recommend “Wenol” available at “Williams Sonoma” and “Restoration Hardware” to baseline it and get it right…I then recommend “Hagerty’s Silver Foam” for maintenance.

I have a cake server that belonged to my mother or her mother. Only thing I am able to make out on the handle (back) is “Bouquet Silver Plate.” It is in excellent condition, not bent, no nicks or scratches that are visible, although it does need to be cleaned, as it is tarnished in some areas. Please advise what I should use to clean/shine it up, and also if you have any idea as to its worth.
