I recently purchased a copy of a piece of artwork The artist name is Raphael Sonzio (1483-1520) the original drawing was done in red chalk measuring 20.3 x 26 cm Its called "The Three Graces" by Rapheal. On the back of the frame it says "This drawing is a study for the group in the fresco 'The Marriage of Cupid and Psyche', in the Farnesina. Dated at 1516-1517, this work was first recorded in the collection of George III. FI/11/73. On this print that I have you can see a drawing of an anchor. The only thing I know about this one is that the previous owner purchased this in England who then brought it to the US many years ago. I know this is a copy of the original But still looks to be very old. The framing looks like to have been done professionally. The back of the frame has been sealed to help protect from turning yellow with age. Any information about the value of this copy or more information about how many copies were made or age would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to see pictures please email me at farmersgwen@yahoo.com.
