Hi I have a Bear but do not know if it is a Steiff one. the ear is chewed where I think the button would have been, I did this when I was 6yrs old. My father bought me this teddy in 1946. How can I find out weather it is a Stieff teddy Bear? Or even its value please.
Thanks from Jean:)

hi, I have a Steiff bear that was given to my grandmother in the 1920's. Unfortunately she removed the button in its ear, but I have heard button-less Steiff's are somewhat less valuable, but still valuable. Who can I send photos to to properly value this bear? I am interested in selling it, but am finding it hard to find someone in Australia who can properly identify it.
