Before electronics, PC’s, I pods, MP3 players and the world opening before our eyes with the internet, times were simpler. Days were longer, our minds wandered through the vastness of the unknown and we would dream.

Adventures were just a step away and you could be transported there by huge ships or the car of your dreams. Yes plastic and wooden models you could put together or the dolls your sister played with would take us to the wonderland of adventure.

The thought of being a Pirate or Queen for a day would fill us with joy as collecting today does. We are all collectors of something whether we think so or not. Scale models, Dolls, Stamps, Coins or memories all have brought us to where we are now.

With our collections we have a chance to step back, reflect and take a deep breath of adventure.
