I have a vintage Steiff Kangroo that I cannot find the value on. It is about 22cm high, is light tan and light brown in color, has a very pointed nose, shoebutton eyes and a leather nose. It does not have a tag or button on it or any name. She has a baby but not in a paoch. The head of the baby just sticks out from the mother's belly. Only the bsby's head shows and it is the same color as the mother with shoebutton eyes and a larger shoebutton or glass black nose. Can You provide me with any informtion on my kangaroo? It appears to very old and a little of the mohair is gone, especially around the nose.

Thank You

Now the question is, has Steif ever done a platypus?

I find it interesting how in recent times there stuffed animals have really come down in price for the new stuffed animals. I recently saw a collection of new animals in London that I didn't even baulk at the price. Guess a sign of the times. I still treasure my Steif earrings for humans that the Steif club did many years back.
