I believe I might have a small bronze .....Dancer with Harlequin ...by Prosper d'Epinay. He was my great grandmother's uncle. And my great grandfather (Capt Frederick Shaw)married her in Mauritius around 1850's. Trouble is the small mounted base in a mottled brown/redish marble was broken many years ago and replaced. I can't see any identification... but would like to try and get some clarification. Unlike his Joan of Arc pieces, this one is quite humorous....the harlequin is actually looking up under the dancer's skirt. The piece has come down the family. Have pic to submit.
