In 1953 I was given the Mecki, Micki,Mucki and Macki family which was posted to me from Germany to Uganda where I lived. Since then they have accompanied me around the world and, eventually, Meckie, Mucki and Macki perished. Micki is still with me but recently fell off her shelf tearing her very (by now) delicate skirt. Last year on a cruise down the Danube I managed to make a dash to a department store in Germany and bought new Mecki, Mucki and Macki's so that I now have the entire family - but the old Micki is easily the most characterful. Does anyone know if there is anywhere I can have her still original clothing restored?
