I was driving to get gas at 7:30 this morning here in Maine. The temperature was a brisk 3 degrees. We have an outdoor flea market at an antique mall where dealers sell their wares just about year round. I was so surprised to see a dealer out in front of the flea market on such a cold day, so I stopped to show my interest in his craziness. Well wouldn’t you know I scored a mason jar of vintage AKRO marbles from the 1930′s all in really good condition. I felt so bad when I asked him how much and he only asked for $7. I could not insult the toughest man I met so far today. I gave him $12 told him to buy coffee and stay warm. These are highly collectible marbles, had for pennies, all because my curiosity got the best of me. Pay attention to the little things, they can be big sometimes.
