Description: A wonderful copper pot is up for sale. This would be a great addition to a cabin, restaurant or fireplace.
This bell shaped is solid copper with a cast iron handle and a rolled top rim. This was a hand made item. The pot measures 24" across and 15 inches down - not including the handle.
It is from the early 1900's and was used to make apple butter. It has not been touched for 40 years.
The cast iron handle is about 3/4" solid and the attachment is also cast iron. It looks to be welded with copper.
Although there are no leaks or holes, it does have 2 repairs on it. The color is just beautiful and it does have normal wear and tear on it.
