This is a commemorative coin given to all Cast Members on the occasion of the Opening of EuroDisney, which is now Disneyland Paris, on April 12, 1992. The best way to describe the coin, which weighs a couple of ounces and is about the size of an old silver dollar, is to say it is 'circulated.' T are some scratches on both sides, however, everything is clear and it really is a unique piece of Disney history, especially as EuroDisney is no more! The front side shows Mickey from Fantasia using a magic wand and both messages on the front are in English and French. The first, around the edges, says, "Inauguration Officielle Le 12 Avril 1992" and "Grand Opening, April 12, 1992. Under Mickey's feet, it says, "The Sun Never Sets On Disney Magic," which also is repeated as "Le Soleil Ne Se Couche Jamais Sur La Magie Disney" in French. On the reverse side, it shows the Magic Kingdom with the words: "Euro Disney Resort Paris" The commemorative coin is the one you will receive.
