Photo Print: Illumination Day Cottage City, 1877
Print made from a glass negative of the late nineteenth century photographers Richard C. Woodward and Son. Their work covers the period of 1871 through 1888. The print being offered was part of a series taken on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket where the Woodwards maintained a summer studio in the Campgrounds of Cottage City (now known as Oak Bluffs) on Martha's Wineyard. Their work covers the lives and times of that era with a fine artistic quality that was unusual for the period. The negatives are originals and have not been retouched. The prints are produced to archival standards set by the Smithsonian. The photo is number 365 in a series, is matted and framed, and has a description on the back of the scene. It needs to be reframed and paper lined on the back in order to preserve this beautiful piece of americana. It measures 14 by 11 inches. Reasonable offers accepted.

Gill Glass Circa 1930's light fixtures
We have 3 ceiling light chandeliers made by Gill Glass and Fixtures Co. of Philedephia, and made in the 1930's.
