Large Tibetan Buddha Playing Guitar Brass Statue 60"
You are viewing a vintage grand scaled polished brass Tibetan Buddha statue depicted playing a guitar. This large family heirloom is part of a liquidated Miami Beach estate handled and appraised by an estate specialist. Buddha being depicted playing a guitar represents the Buddha teaching his Dharma (nirvana) to his followers. The statue displays the Buddha deity in the meditating style. The face is round and smiling with a hooked nose and narrow lips. As with any Buddha sculpture, this piece is an amazing ancient representation of the Buddhist ideals of peace, blessing and serenity. The statue is very large and heavy (close to 200 lbs) and needs an ideal area to stand out in. Measures approximately 60" tall (the tallest point being the guitar) and is 42" wide. True collectors would appreciate the beauty, amazing craftsmanship and VALUE of this huge polished brass Buddha statue.
