This is a unicum, carved for the traditional musical group of bern / swiss.
The brienz bear with glass eyes and a lance.

Dial Phone Western Electric 302 - Thermoplastic made for Bell Telephone company

Thermoplastic Dial Telephone from the 1930's . It is an old Bell System desk phone manufactured by Western Electric Company. This is the 302 model. Note the Art Deco lines in the casing. These old phones are harder to come by. However they are becoming very popular and fun to place in your home for a functioning piece of old technology with style. You can dial out with them but it does take a few more seconds than a push button set. With great pride I have a phone like this one of hooked up in my office. I can receive calls as well as dial out. The phone that I am offering for sale has not been tested but I see no reason why it would not work. It can be fitted to work with a phone jack. There are a few websites explaining how. The problems I see are a small crack in the case in the back corner of the base. (I am pointing to it in a one of the pictures). The steel bottom cover has a bit of surface rust. The is some signs of wear where in the handset from use over the many years. There are a few faint scratches here and there. That type of wear can be polished out. The electric cord ends need to be trimmed back as red and green coating over the wire end look a bit chewed up. Turkish Tribal Prayer Rug Vintage Hand Knotted Wool 66" x 35"
Turkish Tribal Payer Rug Vintage Hand Knotted 66" x 35". At the time I purchased this many years ago I was told that it is a Turkish Prayer Rug. It is a Kilim however it does not appear to be double sided. On the underside the knot ends are visible The colors are spectacular. Plus there is some type of metal seal that is held by a wire to the rug. It must be as the makers ID stamp. However whatever markings is had is now worn off. It is good condition with no major damage and comes from a non-smoking home. It could use some professional cleaning. It has been on my floor for many years and my dog did peed on it although it has been treated with odor removal product. There is a bit of bleeding of the red on to the white but this is minimal and not noticeable. It has been used in a low traffic hallway. There are some inconsistencies in the coloration but this is typical of hand made tribal rugs. I took the pictures outside so some of the lighter areas look like bleach stains but it is just the sunlight. Art Deco Bar Ware Set 26 pcs. Ca 1940
Art Deco 26 Pc. Bar Ware set, Ca. 1936-1940 RARE. A partial piece of this set can be seen in "Collector's Guide to Art Deco" Second Edition by Mary Frank Gaston page 22. The difference in this set is the number of pieces and the dome of the cocktail shaker is Stainless Steel not chrome. The set was probably produced in both stainless and chrome. This set is unmarked, as stated in Ms. Gaston's observation. In 1939 MacBeth Evans Glass merged with Corning Glass and that company could certainly make a set of this quality, but I am not certain they were the manufacturer of this gorgeous set! This was a one owner set put up for auction in New Orleans. Cocktail shaker is 11 inches high w/stainless steel dome w/clear & textured frosted pattern trimmed in silver. Ice Bucket is 6.25 inches high, 6 shot glasses 3.25 inches high, 11 glasses 3.38 inches high, 6 tumblers 5 inches high; also included is the Mixer/Pitcher which is 9.75 inches high!! There are no chips or cracks, just below normal wear and therefore I give the condition as excellent! SALE & SHIPPING ONLY WITHIN CONTINENTAL USA!

Signed Curtis C Jere Large Metal Owl Sculpture Mod Modern Retro
Here is a stunning mid-century metal owl sculpture signed C Jere and dated 1968.
Both the owl and base are signed. The owl is not connected to the base, but rather just sets on top.
This owl is the largest of Artisan House's / C Jere's table top owls, measuring in at about "16 x 13" with a base of 14"x 11". I included an average sized wine bottle for size reference in picture.
This piece would be a wonderful addition to any mid-century modern home, or for resell at this price! I've seen him listed for over $1,500 in the past.
