New England Large Red Wooden Ice Chest / Cooler
This is a large wooden ice chest from back east. It may have been used to store fish or other sea food on a ship or perhaps on the wharf. Its size and character would make it a perfect cooler for entertaining. It measures about 45” wide by 27” deep by 28” height. It features an outer lid and an additional lid under that. The inside measures about 39” by 20 ½ by 20” deep and features a drain in the bottom.
