The name of this print is called BLUE DOG DOES THE RED TIE…. This print was completed for a fund raiser for the "Little Sisters of the Poor". These were done for an event and never sold in galleries! It is #9 of 10 prints! From New Iberia, Louisiana, Cajun Artist George (Blue Dog ) Rodrigue is known for his Blue-Dog series, inspired by Blue Dog's long-deceased childhood pet, Tiffany, whom he poses with other animals and people. Rodrigue had early art talent, and while ill for nearly a year, Blue Dog used watercolors and crayons to pass the time and pave the way to his future. He studied at the University of Southwestern Louisiana and in Los Angeles at the Art Center College of Design. For awhile George Rodrique painted Abstract Expressionist works but then went back to painting that which reflected his own Cajun culture including folk tales and bayou and swamp landscapes.

Majolica Cobalt Pair of Pitchers George Jones?
Majolica Cobalt Pair of Pitchers A stunning pair of vintage Majolica Cobalt Blue pitchers featuring a lovely floral design. These were purchased from a private estate. The former owner was 92 years old and passed away recently. Her son sold these to me and said that his mother had them in her possession "for as long as he could remember". I am not an expert on Majolica items and have tried unsuccessfully to find examples of this style. I believe them to be European but I am not sure. I was also told that they may be by George Jones? They are 7" tall and each are numbered the same on the bottom with a stamped #6026/29 and a hand painted 119 as well. Photo four shows these marks. As well, one of them has some pencil writing but I can't make it out. They are in great condition and I encourage any interested buyers to please ask questions and/or contact me for more photos or information. Thank you for looking and shopping with me! Final shipping costs to be precisely calculated and based on final destination, delivery specifications and insurance requirements. Please wait for final invoice prior to paying. Thanks so much.

ALADDIN ALACITE PAIR OF FLORAL LAMPS A treasure too good to be true...a pair of full size Aladdin alacite lamps with an awesome floral design. This is the really hip "green-ish" color that Aladdin used which is perfect today for a real retro look. Original top fixtures (white heavy plastic) still intact, just add harps and shades. Just one small "flea bite" chip (photo 4) on one of bases, but otherwise they are great. Get in touch for more information or photos to help you make your decision if needed. Alladin mark on bottom of each lamp base. Thanks for looking and for shopping with me! Please wait for final invoice so I can get the best rates to your destination based on your specific shipping requirements. These will need to be well packed so I will do so and calculate rate to actual shipping address then invoice the winning bidder. Thank you!

Vintage Art Deco Girl With Scarf Floral Frog
Stunning Art Deco Dancing Lady With Scarf Floral Frog This is a beautiful, vintage floral frog featuring a dancing lady encircled in her scarf. She stands 7 3/4" tall and is about 7 1/2" across at the widest width. There are eight holes to allow the water to flow inside the piece and the bottom is sculpted and very beautiful. There is a very small (barely visible) glaze imperfection near the front (see photo) but it is not a chip or crack and hardly shows. For all purposes, this is a perfect piece and it is definitely old. The bottom has a few glazing flea bites, but again, these are part of the firing process, not flaws. A great piece to add to your art deco collection. Thank you for looking and for shopping with me!
