Own a piece of Imperial German history – the “Kaiserzeit.” This is a World War I era (or earlier) Imperial officers sword. It is molded with the Wilhelm II eagle on the grip, and has the folding side guard on the typically tight wire wrapped grip. The double fullered blade is about 29-1/2 inch long sword blade is marked with king and knight marks. The blade is sharp and in good condition. The sword is about 35-3/4 inches long overall. The metal scabbard is intact. These are overall views of the right side, the left, right and other images. Consider the images before purchasing an antique edged weapon. Overall, this sword is in very good shape – very well-maintained—considering it dates to the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Please contact me with inquiries.
