Description: Pair of single candle solid bronze Gothic wall sconces from a local 1900 home. Believed to have originated from Europe, country unknown, they are very heavy (nearly 20 lbs each) and depict a dragon or gargoyle with a man's face on the backplate.
I've been searching the Internet for many months and can find nothing even remotely resembling these pieces so they are pretty much unique.
Each measures 17 1/2"H x 17 1/2"D and are spectacular!
Originally paid over $1,200.00 many years ago.
Sold only as a pair...
