Description: For sale is a pair of 1820's to 1840's R.Gleason Pewter Whale oil lamps. These came from my family when they migrated west to Ohio from Mass. The pair measures 8 1/4" high and the base is 3 3/4" in Dia. Great condition. Won, "Best of show", in the antique department at the county fair about 15 years ago. I still have the ribbon.
