The First Official American Flag "The Betsy Ross flag"

The first official American flag, known as "the Betsy Ross flag" Adopted June 14, 1777, Continental Congress resolved "that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field representing a new constellation." The flag is embroidered on burlap and is very old.
