This stool is in excellent condition, and is 100% intact with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. It still has its original markings as seen in the photos. This item was popular at early expositions because it served as a very nice walking cane, and unfolded into a sturdy stool for taking a brief rest while walking around the fair. When folded up as a cane it measures aprox. 35" high. When unfolded into a stool it measures 28" high. This stool would make a great addition to a World's Fair memoribilia collection.
