WW 1 German binoculars with case

  • Item Category: Militaria & Weapons
  • Owner/Dealer:
Listing today is a rare German pair of WWI binoculars. I must first admit that I do not know much about German optics. What is lmprinted on the item is maybe the optics actual name, "Fernglas 08" I can't give you any technical information on these but will try to answer any questions you may have. The binoculars are intact and the glass is remarkably clear and free of any fungus or dust considering the age, they also still seem to work fine but I can't tell you the magnitude or distance. They operate perfectly with no binding when focusing. The carrying case is a brown leather case with a German label on the inside. The item is very worn, the strap to cinch it closed has worn off but the belt loops are still very much intact. The binoculars measure approx 4 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide. I think this would be an awesome piece of military history, if not then they are still a wonderful pair of German Military collectible binoculars. I will ship to the lower 48 states only for fee of $16.00. Very fine for Paypal preferred.
