WWII Imperial Japanese Army Helmet w/ 2nd Pattern Cover

Excellent Japanese combat helmet with 2nd pattern helmet cover. Nice IJA (Imperial Japanese Army) helmet, with complete chinstraps. Shows use as the cushion pads are missing and the date stamp under the front pad is illegible. The second pattern cover is super clean and probably unissued. The cover is dated 1943. The ‘typical’ drawstring is missing to the cover and a series of strings is in its place (can be replaced if desired). It has slight mothing to the yellow wool star, which is fairly typical on many helmet covers. 2nd pattern covers are actually harder to find than the 1st pattern. A great pairing of an original helmet and cover.
