I have recently come to own a Dutch bible which I believe could have some value, and I would be keen to know if anyone has any suggestions of where I can get it valued, particularly if it is worth my while insuring it. It is 10x16 inches, 6 inches thick, complete with original cover, pages, maps and images and was restored from a bundle of papers so the spine is not original.

I have been given a book from my Aunt titled, Palmer's Pocket Scale. It seems to be a canvass type cover with embossment on the front and back. Inside the first page:

Where can i get information on old 1700 and 1800 bibles. I have a 1865 new testament translated out of the original greek.It has a brown cover with engraving on it. Ialso have a book of three narrative poems coleridge the rime of the ancient mariner,arnold sorab and rustum and tennyson enoch arden 1898.Also there is a first edition of Polly of the Circus 1908.are any of these of any value?

When my mother died I received from her the full 13 volumes of "The Great War" the standard history
of the all-Europe conflict edited by H W Wilson printed in London by the Amalgamated Press Ltd between
1914 -1919 dependant on volume number.
