The Black Memorabilia Show by lherring
The Black Memorabilia Show was fantastic. The highlights for me included the Tuskegee Airmen book signing and the Marcus Garvey Exhibit.I also learned new facts from the coins exhibit. The first and only Black US treasurer was Azie Taylor Morton. Also, George Washington Carver and Booker T Washington, African American inventor and educator, were featured on the U.S. fifty cent coin in select cities. I will definitely attend this event next year and highly recommend it to others.
