When people ask why I collect, I tell them my desire to collect stems from a genetic defect: I have always had an almost irresistible compulsion to collect things. Some people call this being a pack rat, but I’ve been lucky enough to parlay this lifestyle into a career.

For more then forty years I have been a major player in the world of antiques, collectibles, and fine art. I have advised and consulted with major collectors internationally, museums nationally, and represented clients in all the major auction houses. My love of collecting in general has provided me career that has brought me into contact with a plethora of interesting people and items.

Today, I am the host of the popular television show Flea Market Mania, seen on the Americanlife Television Network. When I am not doing the show or appraisals, I fly around the country doing lectures and working as a guest auctioneer.
