resale shop find - New Jersey Pottery part I
Found this about a month ago. It sits in my front room in a wash bowl I found dating to 1891.
It is a water pitcher and , to the best of my knowledge, I believe it to be 1860's - 1870's.
I am now posting this because of 2 more New Jersey finds. So I am really excited to be finding these.
From what I have read, these potteries around Trenton just exploded during this time and record keeping wasn't at its' best. 7 inches high
tan - brown
with gold trimming and slightly raised design.
