I can't find the maker

I have a gray stoneware jug with what looks like a seashell and BH mark embossed into the bottom. I can't identify the mark. Can anyone help me?

I tried the new directory, but still could not find the mark. I actually have two pieces with the same mark except one does not have the letters BH.
