RumRilll vase - mold 596
RumRill planter.jpgI have a ceramic RumRill vase with mold #596 on the bottom. I have found the same vase here on this site except the one I have is painted and glazed. Large RumRill Open Lace Planter ...596 ... Excellent (09/29/2011)...
Can anyone tell me if that detracts from the value or adds to it. The above all white vase sold for $89 last year on ebay.
Thanks
Von

It would depend on if the glaze/paint is original to the piece or someone has applied it later. That said, most RumRill pottery has very modest values, under $50.00 at auction, so I would not worry too much about this pieces value.
