Drostdy Ware

I am looking for information about 2 plates of Drotsdy Ware hand painted by France Marot, pix attached.
I believe they came into my parents possession in the 1950's.
Any information would be appreciated.

What lovely plates you have. They date post 1955. Here is a site with much history on Drostdy pottery from the Drostdy Museum.

This site mentions how Frace Marot was recruited from a local college, and eventually became the head of Drostdy pottery Design and Arts Department.

Check the Worthopedia, as there are several pieces there by Marot.

Thank you Audra...i emailed the museum and sent the pix asking for more background information.
i will now check the worthopedia as you suggested.

:( well audra just to let you know i emailed the museum and have not heard
anything from them. i also checked worthopedia and found 2 drostdy plates
by france marot that sold on goantiques for $320 each. would you suggest my
contacting them. i'm a novice at this and would like some advice.
