2 carved chinese vases 5 inches tall
i HAVE 2 INTRICATELY CARVED CHINESE 5 INCH VASES -THE TOP FEELS LIKE PLASTIC -THE REST FEELS LIKE BONE
THEY LOOK SIMILAR TO 2 VASES THAT SOLD FOR $500 ON wORTHPOINT. HOW CAN I DISTINGUISH IF IT IS BONE OR PLASTIC--THE BOTTOM HAS STRIATIONS AND SOME KIND OF SYMBOL.
I HAVE OTHER PHOTOS
THANK YOU

It would be very difficult to tell what the material is from photos. If you post some clear photos of the bottom and any grain in the material it would help.
Price wise, there is a chip on the rim in the one photo. Also, age, maker, material and condition will largely determine price.

An easy test for plastic/resin is to heat a needle red hot and stick it in the bottom, if it's any sort of plastic the needle will melt into it and generated a definite plastic smell.
