This is about a signed Monet painting, and the issues the owner has had over the years to get the piece authenticated. The authentication process can be a very interesting process, with the results sometimes very disappointing.
I like that. It must be exciting to have something like that.
Something I learned from collecting ancient coins. An item can be accepted, or thought of, as not being authentic, not because of proof of being a fake, but because of lack of evidence or anything to show authenticity.
These type items can be exciting to have.
