Trying to identify artist

I have painting that I can not see the artist name and I was hoping someone would be able to identify who the artist may be from the attached photo.

Are their any marks on the frame, or on the back of the piece?

There are marks on the frame but it is very old and there are faded to the point that you can no longer make it out.

In some case paintings have been reframed or retretched, moving the signature below the edge of the frame. I'd suggest removing the the painting from the frame and examining it for a signature along the bottom edge or even where it wraps around the stretcher. If you can find a signature try entering it here Bid online in live auctions - Antique, Collectible & Estate Auctions | Artfact and see if there are any hits for the name.
