Reading signature on art work?

I have a numbered painting (which I know can mean nothing) and it is signed as well but I can not read the signature.

Some one once told me that there is a web site that allows you to input the first few letters of the artists name and then it finds the artist you are looking for based on that. Is that true? If so, what is the name of that web site?

There are a number you could use , three that I use are findartinfo.com, artfact.com and artprice.com
