Corot painting
I have a Corot painting that I know is a forgery as he was the most forged painter in the world because he
told everybody what to look for in a forgery. He also put his name on his student's paintings if they met with
his approval. I would still like to know if it is worth anything,,,thanks

Oil paintings generally require a physical appraisal to determine their authenticity, vintage and value. Values for works in the style of Corot vary considerably, I've seen pieces in the "School of Corot" or "After Corot" sell anywhere from $150.00 to $7000.00. You really require the services of a Fine Arts Appraiser to determine what you are dealing with.

Thanks for the info,,,I picked it up for $5 at a thriftstore so I'm sure I am ahead of the game.
I'll have to find a local expert and take it in.
