Any info on this "bouncing bed"?
I am looking for a name for this crib? It has latches to deaden springs or to let down sides of the bed. The mattress is not original and I know it is at least 1920's or older as 93 year old father was raised as a baby along with 3 brothers and sisters in it....Thanks again for any help..

Based on what I can see, I don't think those coil springs are original to this crib, it's been modified. The crib itself dates from the last Quarter of the 19th Century. I've seen these with double coil rocker springs as can be found on platform rockers of the same period , but never upholstery coil springs.

Thanks for the information. No wonder I couldn't find it.
