vintage liquor bottles

I have several bottles of unopened liquor I found in a deceased relative's house. How do I tell what year they are from? Is it marked on the glass? Most of the bottles are Jim Beam.

Tax stamps would be applied across the the top until July 1, 1985, anything with a plastic cap is probably going to date no early than the 1960's. It might be best if you post some images of your bottles and the labels so we can get a better idea of what you have.
