Can anyone date this piece, or tell me anything about it?

I bought this necklace about 30 years ago in a Texas antique store. They said it was an antique piece of onyx, ivory and gold beads. It is 30" long. The striped station is 1 inch and the large beads are about 3/8". I'm particularly interested in when it might have been made. If it's ivory/bone? My problem is that ebay removed my listing because they will only allow you to list ivory if it's from before 1900. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if this is older than that. It has a silver clasp. Weighs 152.6g

I think the piece did not have much age when you purchased it. I believe it dates to around 1970 -1980 or so. I have seen clasps similar to yours marked China. Are you 100% sure those beads are ivory and not bone? They look very much alike. You might take it to a gemologist to get his opinion as to what those 8 beads are made , Ivory or bone.
