Items not found

Recently i was given a figurine by a relative. Neither of us has ever seen anything like it. On one side it is painting of a baby with a cork stopper. On the other side it is a swirl of brown. The bottom of the figurine has Made in Germay on it. If anyone has any idea of what this is or where I can find out more information please let me know.
