Estate auctioneers find larger audience, sales online
What's going on with traditional in person auctions? Click here to read an interesting trend article about auctions going almost, or completely, online.

I have several Search terms registered with AuctionZip that keep me up to date on Auctions- both in my state and around the country. I also am noticing that live online bidding is being offered more. However, there's nothing that compares to attending an Auction in person and being able to inspect items before bidding. It's a big disappointment to bid, win, then receive an item that is not as expected or that has an unreported defect.

Agreed. There is nothing more thrilling than attending an auction in real life. I have actually participated in an auction as well, holding up the items for the audience to view - now that was AWESOME!
I have alerts on Artfact and Liveauctioneers and it is fun to see what comes up. I have also had some luck on Proxibid and AuctionZip, but as always, ask your questions beforehand and buyer beware!
