Hi People

I just joined because I need to learn about antiques and collectibles from you seasoned and wizened experts. Here's my story:

I am an Australian living with my wife in Shillong, India. Few have heard of this town, but it was the summer capital of the British Raj due to the altitude and proximity to Calcutta.

As might be expected, there is a wealth of curios left behind by the British and I have had many questions that a novice antique hoader might need answering. I'd appreciate any help.
