Gold testers

Has anyone used a gold tester and what kind do you recommend for ease of use, reliability?

Hum, I don't know anything about this... any ideas, thoughts?

I use acid to test for gold content. You can purchase kits that have acid for 10kt, 14kt and 18kt gold.
It takes practice, but you will get the hang of it in no time.
