I found a pair of andirons with the foundry mark Wellington Pat 1888 stamped on the back. The lace of the lion is round and the bottom of andirons are a crescent shape. The andirons resemble hubley andirons. I was unable to findl out anything about a wellinton foundry. Only information was that Foster's of Lincoln used the Wellington foundry mark in the late 1800's in england. There appears to be a book at Princeton and Harvard the discusses the fosters foundry. Please let me know any info you have.
Hello, can you please post a photo of the items and the foundry mark, many thanks!
