Can not find this toy car anyplace!?

I can not find this toy car anyplace on the web.

Worthpoint came up with something similar but not exactly what I have. This one says Kellogs racing team and has a Tony the Tiger theme to it.

This one is sealed in plastic and came with the box it was mailed in. Also, it was mailed directly from Kellogs in Battle Creek Mi. This tells me that these were not sold to the general public?

If possible I would like to know how much this is worth? Is it rare? Does anyone collect these? What year? Also, I am trying to figure out how people originally got these? Perhaps they had to save up some sort of "tickets" or "Kellogs bucks" or something to get one of these?

OK thanks for that info. You are right there is nothing even close about being vintage on this one.

I did find out that these were a mail in promotion done by Kellogs. The next questions are: How many of these were made? Also, does not being sold to the general public make something worth more?

Hello - it is impossible to tell how many of these were made, the company would not release this information. As for the marketplace and distribution, something is worth what someone will pay for it. In general with eBay, the internet, and 24/7 channels of distribution, everything - more or less - is available to the general public. It is still to early to tell about the future value this piece in particular.
