I am trying to price these for an estate sale, a few people have said they may be Beatrix Potter, just because it's a rabbit??? :o) Not sure, anyone know? They do look very old.

do they have any marks or other ID on them?
Attachment 576 they just have these x's on bottom???
Is there any writing on the bottoms, it looks like it may say something, or are those just shadows?
the are x's, just one x on the bottom of each piece, it looks like a handwritten x
Beatrix Potter was big business, very little of anything connected with her drawings and her books goes without some markings to indicate her name, copyrights and licensing. Like anything else though that's popular, others will copy a "Going Thing" as close as they can without actually labeling it as a legitimate original product.
The X marks here really don't tell us anything, but one of the cups looks like there is letters impressed on the bottom, what does it read. See if you can make it out and post back what you've found.
