    Joseph Copeland Chuckatuck Pewter Spoon

    There's probably no such luck this being an original... but I have a Joseph Copeland Chuckatuck 1675 that is not stamped "Steiff". It measures 7-11/16" long and slightly less than 2-1/8" wide. Anyone familiar with this type animal? I'd appreciate any info you can provide. Best regards, Joe

    Pewter touch marks are not generally prominently displayed as this one and would not be this pristine for date of 1675. Baring a physical examination I'd say this one is a reproduction.
